Cheebee is a line of 3″ figures from The Loyal Subjects in the Japanese caricature style of Chibi, or small, stylized manga characters with large heads and exaggerated features. To bring this brand to life I fused multiple Japanese design styles into one cohesive, exciting look.
Each figure is wonderfully detailed, highly collectible, and includes a unique collector card.
East meets west.
Japanese design has a rich tradition to explore with quiet, reserved styles that maximize white space to bombastic looks and bright colors commonly found on candy and children’s products.
The former makes it a little easier to digest for a western audience, while the latter offers great opportunities for eye-catching colors and brand-oriented patterns.
